It all starts with a purchase and a download
Congratulations, you have decided to take charge of your health and purchased a Streamcheck!
The Streamcheck works together with an app developed especially for it. The first step is to download the app. Depending on which device you are using (Android or iPhone), you can find the app either in the App Store or in the Google Play Store. The QR codes on this page will take you directly to the download page.

After you have downloaded and installed the app, you still need to register. We ask you to be honest and provide your real data, as this is very important for interpreting your measurement results.
If you also decide to contact one of our Streamcheck doctors at a later date, they will also receive this data and can use it to better assess your further results.
Once you have completed all the fields, you will be asked to verify the email address you provided. You will receive a code for this at your email address, which you must then enter in the app.

After you have successfully registered and verified your email address, you can now log in to the app with the login details you have specified. You will be asked to take the first 4 measurements within the first few days. This will enable us to create a baseline and provide you with initial trend values.
Apart from that, you will also be asked to answer the first questions about your current state of health. This data is very important for the evaluation of your measurement results, so please be honest again. If you talk to a Streamcheck doctor at a later stage, this information is also very important for an assessment of your health.

Now that you have taken your first steps in the app, you can also take your first measurement right away. The app will show you exactly what to do.
The first results
You will receive the results of your measurement immediately after your first measurement. Remember: a single measurement is not very meaningful; it is important to repeat it. This is the only way to generate the really important trend data.

Frequently asked questions
Why do I have to take 4 measurements within the first 7 days?
We can only produce meaningful results for you if a sufficient number of measurements have been taken. For this reason, we have decided to use this measure to create a ‘basis’ for your personal state of health, which we can then assess over time. This also allows us to show an initial trend.
Why do I have to answer so many questions in the app?
The answers to your questions help us to better interpret your state of health and provide you with information about your current state. If you choose to consult a doctor after your first six measurements, the doctor will also receive the relevant data from the questionnaires for evaluation.
How often should the stream check be used?
The streamcheck should be used regularly (every 2 weeks or weekly once) after the first week and if symptoms persist, or to check the urine flow regularly.
What happens to my data if I lose my Streamcheck or it breaks?
Your data will continue to be stored within the account you originally registered and will not be lost. After you have replaced your stream check, you can continue as usual.
